How do I earn cruise cash?

I have Cruisebound cash in my account - how do I use it?
Make sure you are logged in to your account, and you will be able to apply your cruise cash at checkout.
Can I use cruise cash for drink packages or other add ons?
Cruisebound cash can only be applied to cruise fare, and cannot be used to pay for taxes and fees, travel insurance, or other costs incurred.
Can I use cruise cash for my deposit?
Cruisebound cash will be applied at the time of final payment. For bookings being deposited, the full deposit is due at the time of booking and cannot be paid for with Cruisebound cash.
Can I redeem my cruise cash on any sailing, any cruise line?

I booked without redeeming my cruise cash. Can I change my mind later and get a refund or apply my cruise cash to my final payment?
No, you must select whether to redeem your cruise cash or not during checkout and this choice cannot be updated later.
What does it mean if my cruise cash is "Pending"?
Cruise cash earned for bookings remains pending until you complete your sailing, at which time it will move to Posted status and be available for you to use on your next booking.
Do I have to use my cruise cash when I book, or can I save it up?
You are not required to redeem your Cruisebound cash on future bookings. However, if you do redeem it, you must use your full Posted balance.
Does cruise cash expire?
Cruisebound cash expires after 2 years if there is no earning activity on the account during that time.
What happens if I make changes after I book?
The final amount of Cruisebound cash posted to your account when you complete a sailing may change depending on changes made to your booking prior to your sailing. Changes made on embarkation date or during the cruise do not impact the amount of Cruisebound cash posted.
If I used cruise cash towards my final payment, what happens if I cancel my booking?
Cruisebound cash is subject to cruise line cancellation penalties - if the cruise line retains a portion of the fare as a penalty, the Cruisebound cash used on that fare is also forfeited. If you cancel a booking with a full penalty, any refundable taxes and fees may be withheld up to the amount of Cruisebound cash applied to the booking.
Does it cost money to become a member?
There are no membership fees, and it's easy to become a member – just create an Account. Membership and offers are non-transferable and cannot be combined between accounts. Membership is linked to a specific Account.
I already made a booking, can I get cruise cash added to it?
Yes! Anyone who booked prior to April 15, 2025 will earn some cruise cash. You will receive an email when your cruise cash is available. If you have not sailed yet, your cruise cash will be pending until you complete your sailing.
What if I have an upcoming booking with Cruisebound Rewards onboard credit?
You will still get the onboard credit as expected.
If I booked through T-Mobile TLIFE app, can I still earn cruise cash?
No, if you booked through the T-Mobile TLIFE app you will receive the T-Mobile onboard credit promotion on eligible bookings
